Hmmm... I take it all back...how's that? Happy?
Comments:
aww... u didnt have to erase the other one...

Not really... my intention was not to be confrontational or anything... I was merely trying to enlighten your views of my faith. If I sounded a little angry in some of my wording, remember... you can't make such comments and not expect to get a little flamed (although I was trying my best to keep it informative rather than vindictive). If you have any other questions or concerns or whatever, just ask and I'll do what I can to help :)

If it means you'll accuse me of being ignorant again, no thanks.

I only said "ignorant" because you stated your argument as if it were fact (in more than one post), when it was actually far from the truth. As I said, if you'd asked instead (i.e. "Hey... do Catholics believe in the Pope just because they need a visual representation of God?"), then it would have been better received. I will NEVER think of any question as ignorant and am ALWAYS more than happy to answer what I can. And again, you can't possibly expect to make unfounded accusations about someone's faith and not expect to get a little flamed for it. Read my previous comment :P

I meant no offense; I was just a little aggravated and I'm sorry for that. But calling a great, inspirational man such as John Paul II a "golden calf" is pretty... well... uninformed. Again, I mean no ill will. Sorry if any was taken.

You know...she's not all that off. Many people obviously feel that way. It doesn't mean that YOU do; however, MANY do. And do you honestly think the ones who do THINK that's what they're doing. I don't think so. It happens in many areas, pro sports, different religions, different races and different faiths. So don't get on your high horse and call her ignorant. She's not. I mean personally I don't feel like men can choose who is or is not a saint. The Bible I read says that all Christians are God's saints. And that is God's choice, not man's. So how do you feel about that one? You will notice I said it was my personal opinion.

Just because MANY people feel a certain way doesn't mean that it isn't ignorance. A great many people are ignorant about a great many things. It doesn't matter if people THINK that's what they're doing or not. Heh. Ignorance is ignorance...and if you're not informed on a subject (ANY subject), you're IGNORANT of that subject.

Oh yeah... if you're looking for my response to your comments, anonymous, I started a new thread. You can find it here. Thanks.
